Life as we knew it changed over night when Covid-19 hit world wide... life has changed in many ways for different people.
With change can bring stress and anxiety. We are creatures of comfort who do what we know and resist change, often when the change would be better for us.
Livelihoods and health are at the forefront of everyone’s minds right now and with social distancing and self-isolation a part of our new norm, for many this may feel overwhelming, lonely, anxiety inducing and stressful. For others it may have brought about positive opportunities and time for reflection and now feels like a good time to be making change in your life for the better. Add equality and Climate change to the other huge areas we as a human race are looking at right now and wow there are so many areas we are up leveling to in order to be the best version of ourselves and thrive.
Our work at IH is all about the outdoors and being a part of nature and what the horses can teach us about ourselves so I have decided to offer a 8 week series for your self-development to support you through the changes you may be going through or seek.
This 8 week series will help you question and reflect on some of your deep ingrained conditioned beliefs. I have a framework I guide you through giving you tools to help you connect to your true self, develop your self-awareness, connect with what you want and how to start making strides towards it whether it is a new job or feeling more positive about life and improving relationships with self and others. The exercises will help you de-stress and feel calm and I will do it all with you from the field with the herd by my side so you can see them as you and I interact!
Everything we do here at IH is inspired by the horses, so many of the tools and lessons I teach have been shown to me via the horses and I continue to share these with you via these sessions!!
What you will get from the series:
Developing self-awareness and skills to help you keep stress levels low is so important not just for your mental health but for your overall health and right now keeping your mind and body healthy is essential to ensure your immune system stays strong.
The weekly themes are as follows:
Bonus: The unique part of this series is that I will run them from the field live with the herd! ( as long as it isn’t raining or too windy) which means you will be able to see them and at times learn from them as we go through this process together!
Bonus: As part of the series I will also include audio downloads of the two main powerful skillset exercises I share with you so you can continue to be guided and practice them in between sessions. You can also have access to a meditation I recorded which features the IH herd grazing and sleeping sounds!!
The interactive sessions will be for 90 minutes each week and with a maximum of 6 participants. The sessions will take place via a webinar platform called Zoom. I will send you the link for it and the idea of doing this in a small group is to not only learn skillsets but also to connect with other like minded people who will support each other through these times. I welcome people from all over the world to join me and the Herd in this exciting new way of self development that allows you to connect with the Herd without having to leave your home!! (sessions are delivered in English)
All you will need is either a computer/laptop/ipad or phone that you can tune into the webinar with. You will need a webcam and microphone, most devices have these built in already but best to check before committing.
